Welcome to the official website of the Cherry Lane Volunteer Fire Department.
Cherry Lane Volunteer Fire Department serves the citizens in the southeastern corner of Alleghany County. Our fire station is located at the intersection of U.S Highway 21 and Mt. Carmel Road, three miles north of 3 popular country club's Roaring Gap Country Club, High Meadows Country Club, and Olde Beau Country Club. Cherry Lane's fire district currently has a split rating of 9s and a 7 ISO fire rating. Cherry Lane Volunteer Fire Department has a membership of 26 volunteer firefighters and 6 pieces of Apparatus to serve the citizens of Cherry Lane's fire district.
