

Cherry Lane Volunteer Fire Department has 27
volunteer firefighters. The Fire Department also has 7 pieces of apparatus. This
apparatus includes 1 pumper, 1 pumper tankers, 1 tanker, 2 brush trucks, and 1
brush/command truck. Our trucks are equipped with: ladders, hoses, forcible
entry tools, ventilation tools, air packs, thermal imaging camera and other
tools.

Response
Cherry Lane Volunteer Fire Department currently has 1 EMT-P, 1 EMT-I, 1 EMT-B, 2 Medical Responders and 5 First Responders. These members meet for training at the fire house on a monthly basis, while also responding to several calls a month. The first responder program was officially started in March of 1989, when the fire department saw a need and started the First Responder Program. This program was started due to the increased number of medical calls in CLVFD's district.
